Creative space

I started the New year thinkiing that my office/studio space was pretty uninspiring and needed a face lift. I just thought that given that I do spend quite a bit of time there it should be an inspiring place. It has been quite the task doing everything but I am happy to say that it is almost complete and even though I say it myself, it is pretty cool. I have had lots of help from my kids who love working with dad of course and I too enjoy them so much. I am looking forward to getting back in there and beginning to record a few new things and perhaps write some new tunes and such.
One thing that was very funny was that when I went to the counter space maker he asked me what colour I wanted. I said "it doesn't matter too much as long as it's funky" he said arn't you involving your wife in that decision to which I replied " this is my space and I can do what I like there" he laughed and said I could tell you wern't fitting out a kitchen because you wouldn't get away with that then! Oh the joys of communication eh?
